Ultrasound (Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
Our 18-month (72-week) Diploma Program is a balanced education using competency-based, in-classroom and in-clinic instruction and demonstration; training also includes performance and testing of practical skills.
This rapidly growing field has strong demand, high paying jobs, and satisfying careers. Sonographers perform diagnostic studies using ultrasound equipment to produce images of a patient's anatomy, which are then interpreted by Doctors to aid in the diagnosis of various medical conditions. Graduates of our program are frequently eligible for ARDMS examination.

Medical Insurance Billing / Medical Office Management
This 8-month (30-week) program trains students in basic human anatomy, medical terminology, medical-front office procedures, and submission of medical claims, managed care, insurance reimbursement, procedure and diagnostic coding, all phases of collection procedures for insurance carriers, including tracing a medical claim, appealing low payments, patient accounts, and preparing an account collection. Students learn to manage Accounts Receivable for a medical office and how to process Workers Compensation claims, Personal Injury, Medi-Care, and Medi-Cal. Students participate in an externship on successful completion of all academic requirements and receive a Diploma upon completion of the program.

Medical Assistant
In this fast growing profession; our graduates enjoy careers at HMOs, Medical Clinics, Doctors Offices, Chiropractors Offices, and Rehabilitation Centers. This program prepares you as a Medical Assistant for Clinical and Administrative capacity. This 8-month (30-week) Program builds your fundamental knowledge and understanding of basic human anatomy and common pathology; learn the use of Medical Terminology as it relates to the clinical environment; and become skilled in routine diagnostic laboratory procedures, assisting in routine patient examinations and surgical procedures, and understand the administration of medications, as well as your legal and ethical responsibilities. Graduates receive a Medical Assistant Diploma, EKG Certificate, Injection Certificate, and CPR health care provider level; Graduates are also eligible to take the examination for Certification by the California Medical Assistant Association.
